    The staff is nice, it has a very light and friendly atmosphere. It may be a great place to work, but it’s not so great to visit. My Mother started going here after her doctor died suddenly several years ago.
    Since then, there have been 5 separate FPN’s, and now, thank goodness, our favorite has returned.
    I’m not sure why that’s been happening, but am glad our favorite is back. We have experienced a few MAJOR SNAFU’s regarding prescriptions, but MOST of the time there’s no issue.
    It’s a telephonic nightmare to try to reach anyone. The receptionist rarely answers and some of the department numbers are not even set up to receive messages! I end up leaving messages for the maintenance department just to get a message through to SOMEbody!!
    Just kidding, they don’t even HAVE a maintenance department, which is unfortunately obvious, especially in the restrooms. Broken, wiggly toilet seats are constant.
    At times, the wait can go over an hour, the visits with the a “Doctor” are 10-15 minutes, tops, so most of the time, we are in and out in 2 hours. This is TONS better than waiting 5-6 hours at her LAST doctor. So, we know how bad it COULD be, which is why, with all the shortcomings, I still give them a 4 star rating.
    Since COVID-19 hit the scene, we’ve been having appointments via telephone, which go quickly and smoothly and that my Mother loves.
    We DID have a glitch in THAT process the other day; they never called for the appointment interview, so I called to see why (they actually answered the phone THAT time) and the receptionist told me that we were supposed to have COME IN for our appointment. When I asked her how were we supposed to KNOW that, since we have BEEN having phone interviews and no one TOLD us we had to come in for our next appointment, she said, “we have been telling everyone that if we DON’T call you, then you know to come in.”
    WHAT IN THE WORLD?!! First of all, you HAVEN’T been tellingly ”everyone” because you didn’t tell US!! Secondly, that is exactly BACKWARDS!! Sigh.
    So, in conclusion, the clinic needs to tighten up on their procedures, pay more attention to detail and toilet seats.
    We love Ashley Pennington, FPN.
    Let’s hope that will get us through all the rest of the problems they have!!
