  One of Memphis best sceneries. One side is the Mighty MISSISSIPPI RIVER. With a friendly beautiful neighborhood alongside it!!!

  One of my very favorite places to go when I just need quiet time by myself or when friends are visiting Memphis. There is always a nice cool breeze coming off of the river. You can stay in the parking lot or at the top of the bank and enjoy the view, or you can walk right down to the river itself. I like to sit and watch the barges and the other boat sail by. Or to just walk down to the sand and collect rocks. There is also a lovely view of the Memphis bridge from here. A perfect place to enjoy nature and to take photographs.

  Nice pedestrian friendly path along the Mississippi River. Parking is available on three lots (may be limited at the one by the AW Willis bridge, depending on day and time). Not ideal for bikes, but you'll see a few every now and then. Great for running or walking (about 1.5 miles one way). Connects to a dog park to the South, and the Wolf River to the North.
  
  FYI: Water fountains are typically down during the winter months.
