(October 2, 2021, 9:22 am)Unlike most banks, FECA looks at "banking" differently. They're not out to hoard your money or collect fees. Their business model is to provide financing solutions for their members. Since they only serve FedEx employees, they understand the culture, the jobs, and the financial situations for those who work at all divisionsns of FedEx.
The people are friendly and they usually try to go out of their way to help their members.
If there's a downside, its that there are few branches. (Most are located near FedEx facilities, so easy to hit on way from work.) This makes using their online access and mobile app a must. Their new mobile app (10/2021) is awesome! Except for depositing cash, you can finally do almost everything you previously needed to go to branch to do! It puts the closest branch in your pocket! -

I finally paid it off and it was truly an easy process.
I also have automatic withdrawal from my FedEx paychecks and get it deposited into a savings account.
They just opened one up in my city where I reside in Fort Worth, so the convenience is here too and not just in Memphis.
