A pleasant cozy place to done in, if you don't want to utilize the drive through. Why 4 out of 5? There just seems to be something missing in the BBQ. Whether it's the sauce or a different way of curing the meat. It just seems to lack the full body flavor of a BBQ.”

“This place is truly one-of-a-kind. It feels like you're in rural west Tennessee with the dim lighting, checked tablecloth, old flooring, alcohol free menu, and smoke pit - but you're actually in the urban city! The chopped pork sandwich is beyond special. The meat is smokey with a nice tenderness, while the slaw is like nothing you'll ever eat. The slaw adds the perfect crunch to the soft meat and bread. Their beans have an extra helping of meat inside, but that's what makes them tremendous. The service was quite nice too. 5 stars.”

Lots of improvements going on inside with broader selections (awesome fastener section is my favorite) and facility upgrades. The staff here has always been helpful and friendly. Don't be fooled by the small parking lot outside - I've found what I've needed 95% of the time saving me a trip to the bigger stores further away.”

“If you want a fancy looking building there's plenty of franchise restaurants around that meet your needs, But if you're interested in fine country cooking / soul food this is the place to be. An all you can eat buffet with three types of chicken, meat loaf, neck bones, sweet potatoes, yams, okra, black eyed peas, greens, corn bread, and peach cobbler, all at a reasonable price.
