  Dr. Shea performed in extraction and bone graft and it was painless...I was put to sleep and the next thing I know...I woke up with no pain. When I got home... I had some throbbing but that eventually subsided... They gave me ibuprofen and a mouth rinse and amoxicillin. The doctor also called me later that evening to check on me. The only thing I would suggest is the doctor should see you when you wake up and tell you now the procedure went. I never saw the doctor again after he put the IV in me. Overall, the whole process was pretty seamless.

  This was my first time at OMS- Hendersonville location. The staff upfront was professional. The nurses and dental assistant's in the back were very compassionate, kind, and explained everything as we went along. The original plan was a normal extraction of a lower molar. Due to it being very hard for me to get numb just from injections, Dr Shea didn't think twice about changing the plan so I would not feel any pain or discomfort. He asked me if I wanted to be under Anesthesia for the extraction? It took me about 2 seconds to say "yes please". It took about that same amount of time to be knocked out. When I woke up, it was over and I was being wheeled out to my awaiting ride. I was very impressed with this level of care and concern from Dr Shea. My experience today was AWESOME.
  If I ever need ANY type of oral surgery in the future, I will definitely come back to OMS.

  Hello all, when I first arrived at OMSNashville my experience was not so good. The receptionist seemed a little annoyed and I asked was she, she stated she was not but her attitude showed different, due to her not receive my referral from my dentist office. I called my dentist several times as I waited and talked to them every time which she (from my dentist office) stated it was faxed and emailed to them several times. The last time I spoke to her I asked for her to cc it to my email as well. I also did not like how payment is announced in front of other patience. Natalie (Dr. Shea assistant) after about an hour called me back at this time I showed the referral from my phone. Natalie was nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Shea was wonderful his patience is just out of this world. There are ONLY a few people in the health care industry that are caring. If you have a chance to visit I believe just having a the pleasure to meet him that the other dentist are just as great.

  Had a molar extracted by Dr. Andy Wicke. He and his staff are amazing! I was put under, felt no pain, and afterwards, when I got home, there was no bleeding, no swelling and didn't have to take the medication that was prescribed for the pain! He is truly a master at his profession! And to top it all off, he personally calls the next day to make sure you're OK. If there were ten stars, I would have given it to him! Thank you so much! I will definitely refer him to my family and friends!

  Extremely impressed!!!! Both of my children had their wisdom teeth surgeries here and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the care they received. The staff and the surgeons were all so professional and very comforting. They went above and beyond, to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
  
  The surgeon himself, called that same evening, to ensure they were doing well and to see if we needed anything or had any questions . They were very thorough in explaining the aftercare instructions and made it clear, they were readily available for any questions that should arise .
