(July 9, 2017, 1:12 pm)I've been at this church since I moved here when I was in second grade. It's not your typical Brentwood church. We only have the one service. A big service is just shy of 200 people. That lends itself to a home everybody knows everybody feel. When my now wife started coming as my girlfriend years ago she specifically commented on how welcoming and how quickly everybody knew her name. This in contrast to where she had been going down the street for all of her life where they forgot to include her in their graduation program. Our church also places a distinct emphasis on chairty outreach. We do warming shelters, sacred Sparks, and various mission trips, especially with our youth. You'll never be asked to join by our minister as he feels like churches shouldn't be like car salesmanship, there should be no pressure. It's a good, humble, and honest church.
