Heritage Cleaners

After having picked up my tuxedo jacket from Heritage Cleaners, I discovered that nearly all of the buttons were broken. Fortunately, I had another suitable jacket to wear to the symphony that evening. When I returned the jacket to the Cleaners a few days later, they were profusely apologetic and assigned their seamstress the task of sewing on new buttons, free of charge. Again, when I picked it up, I was greeted with more apologies, this time from what I presume was the manager/owner. The issue, as we both understood it, was that while buttons can become brittle, I should have been notified.

Here's the thing: my situation, as described above, was obnoxious (it's a textbook definition of a White Person Problem), yet there was no reason for my reaction to be so. They couldn't have responded more professionally. I'm happy to keep my business with them.

3/27/2019 I am updating and providing a higher review because I received a call approximately 2-3 weeks ago from a very nice young woman at Heritage Cleaners who listened to my issues and indicated she would talk to the owner to see if she could secure a refund for the overcharge. I did not hear back until yesterday when she called again and said the owner had written a $10 refund check. I truly appreciate the owner doing this and showing such tremendous customer service; because of this gesture and effort to retain a customer I am amending my review and recommending Heritage Cleaners. This has certainly been a very unexpected and positive development and is very appreciated.

We took two pairs of fitness pants in that each had an pproximately 1.5” tear in the inseam and despite being told it “shouldn’t be much, maybe $5-10” which seemed high to me for such a minor repair but I agreed to that, when my husband picked them up he was charged $15.37 - despite the pickup slip saying minor repair/sew patch -$5.00!!! We tried to call and no one would answer ans we live less than 10 minutes away. Very disappointed that we were lied to and will not use them again. Poor customer service and business practices.

I love coming here! The two young girls working there are so friendly and always remember me by name! Sometimes when they see me pulling up in the drive thru and they already have my order ready for me. They’re so fast and efficient. And the clothes always looks amazing. I highly recommend coming here!!
