“Dr. Dustin is fantastic at his craft. For transparency, I’m a male in my mid-50’s and in pretty good shape. I lifted weights 4-5 times a week and played basketball 2-3 times a week. Until I injured my knee playing ball. When I first started with him, my right knee was so messed up it hurt to even sit and drive. I honestly couldn’t drive more than about 12-15 minutes and I’d have to pull over, get out to straighten it for a few minutes and start again. Walking was painful and steps/stairs were nearly impossible. Four weeks in, I’m able to drive without having to pull over. I’m able to walk without the big limp. And I’m starting back with limited weights Eight weeks in, I’m slowly able to take stairs and go for a slow jog. 10-weeks later I’m playing basketball again! “My family and I have had several visits to RxGenomix throughout the pandemic for Covid testing, and each time Coley helped us. He was not only completely professional, but he was also very reassuring when it came time to test my then 7 year old son. He explained everything in completely age-appropriate terms. Each test had same-day results and we had complete faith in the accuracy of each test. Fast forward to this past spring and Coley reached out to me to see if I'd be interested in a new product that the lab is offering: Pharmacogenomics PGx (I had to look that up and spell it slowly, and I'm 100% certain I can't pronounce it.) He said that with a quick swab of my cheek, I'd be provided with an in-depth report on hundreds of drugs that I could ever conceivably need. From cancer treatments to anti-anxiety, I would have the knowledge of which of these would work best with my specific genetic makeup. The results came back in a very reasonable amount of time and Coley arranged a call from the chief medical person to go over these VERY detailed results. Dr. Liko was kind, thorough and extremely helpful when interpreting the report. They were even able to discern that I was at a higher risk for blood clots, and provided excellent resources to help mitigate that risk. At my recent doctor's appointment, I mentioned the DNA test to my general practitioner and she was not only thrilled that I was able to get this done, but wants to be able to provide the service to her patients as well. The ability to know which medicine would work best with each of her patients will alleviate weeks of trial and error with many common drugs that she prescribes. TL;DR 10/10 would definitely recommend!”

“Just came back from my first visit at Dr. Fields' office. Courtney checked me in at the font and she was very welcoming and kind. Sabrina did my x-rays and listened to every concern I had. She was very thorough and then she continued with my cleaning. Sabrina was very gentle and told me what she was doing at all times. Dr. Fields talked me through all of the concerns I had and made me feel at ease at all times. I get nervous during dental visits but I was assured that all my concerns were nothing to be worried about. I read a review about the office being dirty and that is not true. After my first set of x-rays Sabrina said, "let me just clean this up and we will move on to some more pictures," and I WATCHED her sanitize everything she used on me before she moved on. “There really are so many wonderful things to say about the entire team at VRSM. The team at VRSM has guided my dog, and me, through two separate surgeries over the course of the past year. I was overwhelmed my dog needed a TPLO surgery and by how much time and effort it would take for her to recover and regain her strength and pre-surgery life. I spent over thirty minutes on the phone asking every question on my very long list as one of the members of the amazing team at VRSM explained the entire process to me, answered each of my questions, and addressed all of my concerns. A few weeks after surgery we had our consultation with Dr. Turner. I cannot say enough about how kind, knowledgeable, and understanding she was during our first meeting. She truly is remarkable. She was able to explain to us what our dog was going through post-surgery, how well she was recovering thus far, and what our dog would need over the course of the next few months to not only fully recover, but to do so in a safe manner. We spent the next few months going to VRSM twice a week. During each of our visits the team worked with our dog through a series of exercises, lasers, therapies, and the use of an underwater treadmill to slowly and safely help our dog regain her strength and recover from surgery. At the beginning of each session a therapist takes the time to speak with us about how we think our dog is doing, what concerns we might have, and any changes we may have seen since her last session. After each session a therapist comes back out and gives us a complete assessment how our dog did, ways she has improved, changes they needed to make to the session that day for optimal results, and any changes they think need to be made going forward. Again, we have been going to VRSM for nine months, and this level of service and attention to detail is given at every single session. I’m going to call myself out here, and say: I’m a pretty high-maintenance dog owner. I always have a question. I always have a concern. I always need something re-explained to me. And every single time. And I do mean every single time. A member of the VRSM team has been patient, gracious, and kind to me as they spent extra time ensuring I felt comfortable. I truly feel the team at VRSM deserves to be recognized for how exceptional they are. However I also felt this review needed to be written to help all the dogs and dog owners who may be facing a similar circumstance to ours. To be faced with rehabilitation after surgery, an injury, or a diagnosis can be emotional and overwhelming. But to have a place like VRSM to bring your dog to can be life changing for them. I promise. It seems crazy to say this, but: One of the very best things that ever happened to our dog was her needing a TPLO surgery. It brought Dr. Turner and her entire VRSM team into our lives. They have reshaped our dog’s life after surgery and have added a level of quality to her life as she begins to age that we simply would not have been able to offer our dog without the guidance, knowledge, and kindness of the VRSM team. I see Dr Trey Holt and he is amazing, he has a unique style of therapy that makes it easy to want to come back, even if I have a rough session (over emotional). He takes the time to hear his clients and understand who they are and which direction he feels they need to work in. I like them so much that when my sons were having some issues I got them in to do group sessions with Dr. Corbett and my oldest liked her so much that he kept going. This is a wonderful group of people, I can't really say doctor's because they never make you feel like you are just a patient, and that to me is a huge plus!
