“On February 21, 2022 I was involved in a near fatal collision I slid off Cairo Bend Road in Lebanon and hit an Oak tree breaking both of my legs in several places. I was trapped in the vehicle for quite some time. Wilson County emergency management was the first to arrive. I still haven’t found the names of the individuals involved that helped save my life that day but I will tell you if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be alive! Also there was highway patrol officers there helping extract me out of the vehicle. I have so many people to thank. It’s been just a little over a month and I am in a wheelchair for a while but because of these great folks getting me out of the car and rushing me to Vanderbilt I will someday walk again thank the Lord. As soon as I get the names of the individuals that helped me that day I will add them to this post. Thank you Tennessee highway patrol and Wilson county emergency management team for saving my life. I love you guys!”

“Our family enjoys going to Jimmy Floyd Family Center every year. The new water slides are a great addition for the kids. The 4th of July party was fun. Great music, fun all inclusive games, and free hot dogs. The only complaint I have, not enough chairs. The outdoor pool opened at 10am. We arrived at 11:30 and there were NO available chairs anywhere.”
