I have been involved in 2 head-on collisions (2015 & 2017) and thankfully, by the grace of God, walked away from both. Dr Townsend sat down with me and completed a thorough interview and assessment to include x-rays. He reviewed my x-rays with me, in great detail and explained them in a way to easily digest and understand. “On February 21, 2022 I was involved in a near fatal collision I slid off Cairo Bend Road in Lebanon and hit an Oak tree breaking both of my legs in several places. I was trapped in the vehicle for quite some time. Wilson County emergency management was the first to arrive. I still haven’t found the names of the individuals involved that helped save my life that day but I will tell you if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be alive! Also there was highway patrol officers there helping extract me out of the vehicle. I have so many people to thank. It’s been just a little over a month and I am in a wheelchair for a while but because of these great folks getting me out of the car and rushing me to Vanderbilt I will someday walk again thank the Lord. As soon as I get the names of the individuals that helped me that day I will add them to this post. Thank you Tennessee highway patrol and Wilson county emergency management team for saving my life. I love you guys!”
