“Brittney was very encouraging and educational during the time she spent with us while preparing for birth and after birth. She had such grace in dealing with our ups and downs that come with the process and that made everything more comfortable. She reassured us that everyone deals with things differently and that it’s her job to learn that and adjust for our comfort. When my contractions started she met us at Target because that’s where we were at the time and she stayed with us timing all the contractions. Later that evening she came over and continued to time them. My Husband and I were unsure if the baby was coming because we were already 8 days past due. Some how she sensed it and told us she was staying the night to be there for us, baby or not. Well he decided to come, at 2:30 am we loaded up my 7 yr old son and all of our things and headed to the birthing center. She was by my side putting up with my mood swings all night and held me up for my last push. She held the baby when my husband got sick and when I just needed a moment to spend with my seven year old son. I can’t thank her enough for what she did for us. If you or anyone you know is looking for a doula, I highly recommend her!”
