“This morning, as I was driving to work, I passed an officer with his blue lights on behind a woman with a flat tire on Hwy 100. The officer was down on his hands and knees changing the woman's flat tire. He could have simply made her call a wrecker and pay $100+ to tow her vehicle out of the way, but instead he demonstrated an act of service that you almost NEVER see anywhere. It was really touching to see that, and I hope the officer gets some recognition for going above and beyond.”

“Need to thank the officers on duty last night publicly and apologize to one in particular, I was having trouble getting in touch with my teenage daughter last night we had a disagreement on how she is supposed to act and tried for hours to reach her with no success, and knowing these boys have bigger problems I reached out to them for help and the officer that picked up was not giving the answer I wanted he was giving the answer he was supposed to and I didn’t want to hear that and ashamed to say I lost my temper but he never wavered from his duty or his composure, and to you sir I apologize. Needless to say the boys went above and beyond to ease my worries they were professional all the way around and truth be told they should have reached through the phone and strangled me …, they physically got in touch with my daughter for me who was safe from any harm and made a phone call to me the guy who was acting like a crazy person to let me know she’s fine …. For that gentleman I thank you … you really are true heroes. You should be treated with nothing but respect. Thanx”

“This happens to be the only place in Davidson County where you can get FBI acceptable ink fingerprints. And you know what it's not a bad experience. You walk into a spacious modern building . It's the entrance on the far right side when you enter the parking lot. Head upstairs and find 3 or 4 techs. They will quickly show you how to fill out your cards and then fingerprint you. 9 dollars for one card a dollar extra for each additional and a small fee if you use a credit card. My thought here is this could be a DMV like horror show and its not. So huge props to metro pd for avoiding that.”

They may let it slide in Memphis, but they joke around here in Bartlett. If you want to be a citizen here, you better obey the law and show some respect to your community. The Bartlett Police Department has my full support. Been a resident here since I was in the crib.”
