The leadership skills are amazing, the test scores are phenomenal, and the arts program helps the students better understand that singing, dancing, acting, and many other things can help you learn in a way that fits to your person. The teachers are NOT homophobic, they let the children embrace there true selves, which is also helped by the arts program. “We like to find neighborhood diners as we travel. It’s fun to watch friends & relatives come & join conversations with folks already eating. Most of the conversation is about the turn the weather just took or did you hear that Jack’s niece is pregnant, in jail, graduated from college? The food was good with home style sides; cabbage & turnip greens for me, mashed potatoes, gravy and white beans for my husband. He had fried pork cutlet, with fried cornbread. It was a great meal and overall fun experience. We did not make it to their gorgeous selection of desserts.”
