Pelican Bait

My family always gets bait from this shop. We absolutely love it. We get live shrimp here, and they seem to always last and not die quickly. Unlike other places we have gotten bait from before.

Hardest working bait shop in Rockport, Texas. They're the first ones open and the last ones to close. Nothing worse than needing some bait late at night when fish are biting and the bait shops are closed. Not Pelican Bait they'll be there for you late into the night. For that reason I'll give them a 5 start rating. Best Bait shop in Rockport.

Great place to get huge crabs. We cut those in half put on hook and husband caught 2 big black drums.

I decided to do some night fish off the pier near by with a group of friends and I googled bait shops and few places showed up close by the pier we were going too. We started at the bottom an worked our way up. We stumbled into pelican bait shop and right away we could see this is the best place to get your bait if your doing some night fishing on the pier or in general if your in the area. She has the best quality as for size and her prices were the best as well. Wide selection and she gave us a some free extra shrimp but we insisted we pay!! We got to talking to her because her funny attitude that we all fell in love with. This is the sweetest lady you (owner) you will probably meet in that area. She is very funny! She is fun to talk and I just have to say from a veteran fisherman. She was perfect! Thanks again Pelican Bait!! We will see you next time we come down!!
