  The Dentists here are very experienced and kind. The faculty is an old local home with an added office feel. I love that small town comfort and can’t stand the “cattle processing” treatment you’d receive in the city. The staff here is great.

  Dr. Jacobs made me feel comfortable and calm when I have been terrified of dentists all these years. Staff was very professional and polite. I’m thankful that this dentist is located on Poteet. Scheduling was quick and the appointment didn’t take long at all. I recommend anyone seeking a good dentist to try Southern Smiles!

  Have only been coming here for a little over 2 years and it always seems so friendly and welcoming. Mr jacobs is always smiling and cracking jokes makes you feel right at home. The dental assistants are always so cheery and nice. Very great small business and I hope they continue to do great work. Thank you guys so much!

  After a bit of a rocky start, my 7 year old son was taken care of completely.
  My son needed a molar pulled and long story short, he was seen initially by another dentist who was out of network and got antibiotics.
  When the Dr here at Southern Smiles saw him, he first said that we needed to see their children's dentist because he hasn't done a spacer in 30 years.
  We had communicated to the person who took the appt, that my son was seen by another dentist initially, where he was seen, etc. Why would you take an appt for a 7 year old if you can't take care of his needs?! After some conversation, the Dentist worked through what he needed to do, got the insurance verified for the procedure, and they went ahead and took care of my son.
  I'm glad we were able to work out everything. They were patient with my son, and the staff are really nice.
