Capital of Texas Zoo

I had a fantastic time coming here for my birthday! My friend and I got to feed the lemurs and be (gently) climbed on by a lovely otter. It's immediately clear that these babies are well loved, and we'll definitely be back!

Not the traditional Zoo experience, but most definitely a tonne of fun! We are definitely going back again. A great variety of rescued exotic animals. And incredibly friendly staff.

Even on a very sultry August morning, it's a great place to fiddle away a couple of hours. Nearly empty (middle of the week), and getting to feed their very charming lemurs was worth the whole price of admission. Neat-o.
