(June 29, 2022, 12:55 pm)As a new mom, I’ve been searching for things to do with my now 3 month old. We found Elgin library and WOW!! They have so many activities and events for kids of all ages! We went to story time and Lapsit time…amazing! Interactive songs with props, toys around for the kids, a nice carpet area with lots of colors. The librarian that led these activities was energetic and fun (as a retired teacher, this makes my heart so happy!)
We will be going back for bilingual story time also.
For my mommas- nice clean bathroom with diaper changing station, lots of seating to breastfeed. And y’all, FREE, free. Free.

(June 18, 2022, 1:07 pm)I absolutely adore our public library. They have amazing children's programs for free all the time. The librarians are very kind and very helpful. It is always super clean and sanitized. The library is an amazing place that we have been coming for years and will keep coming!

(December 1, 2021, 2:30 pm)This is my first time venturing to this library, we showed up for story time which was perfect with the help of Dulce filling in and reading to the kids. The kids center has many interactive and learning activities, puzzles, books and play centers. I definitely plan on being more active during their story times and other events that they host.
