The owners are extremely knowledgeable about trees that do well here. After moving into a new house, we were anxious to get the slow growing baby live oaks out of our yard and invest in a tree that would provide a different look and shade much faster. They suggested a Mexican sycamore tree and we took home a smaller one. Just a few years later the tree is taller than our two story home with the most gorgeous foliage and large green leaves with silvery undersides. We've noticed several other people in the neighborhood buying similar trees, we think they've been inspired by our beautiful one! They had a large selection of native trees and all of them looked very well taken care of, unlike some other nurseries I've been to. Very thankful to Wilson's for their help and support and I wouldnt go anywhere else!
We have a large selection of 1 to 45 gallon trees of all varieties. Cedar elms, Monterrey oaks, red oaks, red buds, Mexican sycamores and many more. We offer delivery if you can't transport the tree yourself and we can answer any question you may have! Come on in and check out our excellent prices.
Great selection of native Texas trees and other hybridized trees that do great in the San Antonio and Hill country areas. Glenn only sells plants that do well in the area and only sells plants that are healthy and beautiful. He knows just about everything when it comes to trees and will even walk you through everything you need to know to be successful and answer all questions. They offer tree delivery for a small fee depending on where you live. They have the best prices in town because they grow a lot of their trees themselves. Great selection of Monterrey oaks, Texas red oaks, red buds, Burr oaks, lacey oaks, cedar elms, Mexican sycamore, bigtooth maples more.
I contacted Wilson's Native Texas Tree Nursery to get a second opinion about the health of the large ash trees in my front yard. I was told various signs indicating their removal. The trees are about 60 years old and 50 to 60 feet high. It not only was going to be a big expense but a huge loss. Wilson's Native Texas Tree Nursery not only verified that I needed to be cautious about the structurally integrity due to cracks in the trunk, but also recommended a tree that perfectly matched my specifications. They emailed me back within hours of reaching out and were very open to questions and really helping me out. I really appreciate their services and will be reaching out for future projects.
