(March 15, 2020, 10:29 am)The outside ambience was great, musician played guitar and sang while we ate, decor was unique and tables were well spaced to give everyone room to breathe. I had the enchiladas combination platter, 5 different enchiladas that were all great. Fantastic service, and is now our go to location for Tex Mex when we visit San Antonio

(March 5, 2020, 9:00 am)Nice variety for Mexican food. Reasonable prices. Beautiful outside seating, weather permitting. Live music Saturday evenings. Inside gets a little noisy. Can eat in the Bar area for a quieter experience.

(January 27, 2020, 8:36 pm)Went there for lunch and the food was good, had the asada taco and enchilada plate, everything tasted fresh. The waiter was great, he came to check on us several times and brought us refills without asking. The entrance is well decorated but the main dining area could use some work, it could also be that it was a gloomy day. Will definitely return when I’m in the area.

But I forgot to pack food for the long beautiful hilly run and when I passed La Hacienda at mile 12, the wonderful aroma that filled the air had me convinced that 12 miles was good for now. So I stopped in and sat by the fire place to get use of my fingers. The place is beautiful and big! It can accommodate large parties, it's kid friendly, and the atmosphere has you feeling like you are on a vacation. I had the breakfast buffet which had so many options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. It was totally worth the price of $18.50. The staff is so friendly and is kind to runners and cyclists that desperately need use of their lavatory. If you are in the area I highly recommend coming to La Hacienda. The other 8 miles I need to run today will have to wait until this amazing food settles.
