  Friendly caring staff, from the CNA's, dining and nursing these individuals demonstrate the meaning of care. Brandy is a great example of caring. Recently I had to visit early one morning, as she was leaving from her shift she told me she had worked with my loved one and noticed a couple of items they were in need of, I happened to be stopping to take those items. She was very helpful and went back to my loved ones room to make sure they would be ready when it was time for breakfast. Knowing Brandy is the caliber of staff hired at Pecan Valley makes my heart happy. I have recommended Pecan Valley to friends.
  I will continue to recommend Pecan Valley.

  Our mother has been at Pecan Valley for three years, when the family made the decision to choose Pecan Valley we hoped we had made the right choice and YES we did.
  Having a loved one in a nursing facility is hard, you are dealing with so many new things on a daily basis. The transition has been challenging having our mom there, but the entire staff at Pecan Valley has helped us, by always answering our questions and addressing any of our concerns .
  The staff that is assigned to our mother is very caring and compassionate and always has been since day one.

  Having a loved one in a "nursing home" is a very difficult transition for the family unit but our experience with Pecan Valley has always been a collaboration. Things havent always been perfect but we have always had our concerns addressed through direct meetings with administration and through regularly scheduled family meetings. Having a venue to voice your concerns is key to working with a facility to help your loved one have an easier time in long term care like this. Family members are always there to make sure our loved one gets the care that they need which is also something to keep in mind when your family has to make the transition. Overall, we are very satisfied with the care our loved one has received and would recommend this facility to others. Very welcoming to family members and friends.
