  We had a wonderful experience for a recent stay in Dec 2019. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. I wish they had true queen beds instead of the double beds which are full size (narrower and shorter than a queen). The property is beautiful and kept very nicely with many wide walking paths under large shady oaks. We didn’t get to use the pools this trip, however we hope to return when the weather is warmer!
  
  Notes for return: Bring a scooter or balance bike for kids too young for a bike with training wheels. Be sure to check front desk for scheduled activities.

  If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit HotelBuIIy. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!
  
  We love this place for a fun family get-away just before school starts. As opposed to other similar places nearby, the lazy river is covered with trees keeping you nice and cool on hot days. The family activities are fun, too.

  Didn't get to spend a great deal of time here but it was well worth it. Great locale to choose for a base to use to explore the San Antonio area. Very good breakfast restaurants and the location was quiet without being too far away from the surrounding area. Clean and up to date rooms. Staff was very attentive. Will visit again.

  Truly world class, professional staff that works quickly while always listening to the customer. The breakfast buffet is one of the cleanest and best I've had.
  
  The resort has tons to do and is even nice in the cooler months when they open the Adults pool to everyone and heat it.
  
  Absolutely worth it and keep and eye out for off-season bargains. It's (unsurprisingly) packed in the summer.

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort's policy ...is that a room with only one king bed is adequate for 3 and even up to 4 guests with no explanation for where the third and fourth people would sleep. Their response is that we should pay extra for additional beds ( all while standing by that a King sleeps 3-4!).
