This place is a great benefit to the community but the staff need to have more training on how to understand the community their dealing with. These people have no other access to care and often times are going through a multitude of issues. This staff treats them like regular individuals and often don't listen or have a lack of patience which only causes more tension and at the worst can lead to terrible misdiagnosis. I think they need to be re trained on how to work better with their community. That being said the social workers and counseling department are amazing and full of patient kind people. The doctors and receptionist on the other hand are overwhelmed.

These people are the best! They changed my life. They gave me medical and dental care. They are people rescuers!

I’m blown away at the level of care I received at Methodist Healthcare Ministries today. I was not a patient but was able to establish coverage and be seen for parisites , got blood work and a full STD screening I got a dental apt set up and got a referral for a x Ray for a broken toe all with in 3.5 hours. I haven’t had insurance in a year and I always thought it would be expensive but this is was so affordable and the quality of care was 100 times better than when I actually had insurance through my employer. Basically I can not recommend them enough it also seems like they have a lot of different community out reach programs for kids and the elderly that seems really cool. A+++
