  We chose this restaurant in part because of the good review and the fact that we could walk from where we were staying. It's pretty small and it would be wise to call ahead. We had a table outside with a fan. Our server was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. My spouse had the pasta and I had steak with a bottle of wine and dessert for about $100. I think that's very reasonable. If I had a beef with anything the portion sizes could be bigger. They also only had 3 things on the menu.

  That was amazing. Every part of the experience was exceptional. The food was delicious and it made us think of the restaurant we hope to open one day. The owner even took out valentines photo at the airport and of our dinner. We felt very at home in this restaurant.

  Who needs dozens of menu options when the chef knows best? What an amazing meal cooked by a chef that really knows his stuff. Fresh, delicious, seasonal and made with care. I also so appreciate a kitchen that doesn't tack on dessert as an afterthought, but truly makes it the icing on the cake. My favorite place in San Antonio, what a hidden gem!

  Little intimate place with a changing daily menu featuring only 2 entrees, one meat and one vegetarian. But food was well executed and delicious. Personal service. Really enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely be back.

  Make sure you check what they have on menu before going, or if you are willing to risk rolling the dice. They only have vegetarian or non-vegetarian options for entrees, dessert and starter if you opt for the 3 course meal. It takes away any guess work for those who tend to be indecisive haha
  
  The wines were ok and unfortunately there were a few flies going around, but the outdoor sitting is nice and they provided mini fans and organic bug spray for us to use. The service was outstanding and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would like to be back when I'm in San Antonio.
