  Probably my favorite place in San Antonio so far. This is a great place with a fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. I really enjoyed the evening I spent at Candlelight, meeting new people and forging meaningful friendships. Finding an environment conducive to healthy connection can be difficult, but I found it here! I can't wait to go back and make more friends.

  I didn’t particularly like standing in line to order, but the food and coffee was fantastic! These were the best pancakes I have ever had! I asked if they sell the mix, but it is their own batter made fresh daily. I’d go back in a second if I lived here! The service was friendly.

  Lovely place to sit and work or meet someone. Good menu. Beverages and wine is there. Great timings. Open till 12 on a Saturday which is cool

  This place is amazing. My first trip to San Antonio, wanted to find a place to work and grab breakfast at the same time while in town for a conference.
  
  It was a 10 minute Uber from downtown but well worth the trek! Great menu, great Kenyan coffee, and relaxing atmosphere. Diverse and welcoming safe haven for all customers. Chocolate chip pancakes and a plethora of fancy syrup flavors, serve your own unlimited coffee and stay as long as you like no rush.
  
  Would come back here all the time if I lived here!

  This place is wonderful! The only thing better than the food is the staff. Brian, the chef, is an awesome guy. I first heard about Candlelight when he found my purse that had been stolen, and he took time to make sure it got back to me. If you want to support a local business that cares about you as a person, has a great menu, and has ethical, kind people like Brian preparing your meal- that will make sure your food and experience are amazing- definitely come here! Really heartwarming to see so much thought and kindness and great food in one place!
