I had my first boxing experience @ Black Stallion Boxing Plus, which is owned and operated by Tony Adeniran, back on June 1st. The coach was Daniel Leija and his professionalism, patience and overall demeanor was impressive. I decided same day to incorporate boxing into my wellness routine. Since then I’ve had sessions with Matt, Moon and Christian and again, I have nothing but good things to share. This morning’s session with Moon and Christian was upbeat and challenging (in a good way). It was my first time working with Christian and he patiently walked me through some combos. Tony Adeniran and his crew are highly skilled and knowledgeable; they work with all fitness levels and abilities. I highly recommend BSB Plus.
Never boxed before. I was set up with Christian for private sessions and the guy definitely knows his stuff. Good teacher too, nothing but good things to say about this place.
Tony is changing the culture of boxing in San Antonio. He is running a gym that doesn't care about your talent level when you walk into the door the first time, they, his team of trainers, will make you better and help you accomplish your goals. Tony is bright, charming, and full of optimism. The atmosphere is professional, while still welcoming. This was my first real, in-depth experience with boxing/self-defense and I wasn’t expecting to learn as much as I did in a short amount of time. Highly, highly recommended.
