  The atmosphere was clean and inviting -- I tend to prefer slightly warmer/cosier colors in my coffee shops but that's not a knock against Local at all. The coffee and pastries were great and the staff were polite and friendly without necessarily going above and beyond in our interactions but I didn't probe too hard for that, either.
  I can't remember there being any accessibility issues besides the lack of an automatic door but I could be wrong on that.

  I really love Local Coffee around San Antonio! They are a fantastic place to chill and grab a great coffee. Take a moment to relax. I really like this location and how close it is to so many other great shops, etc.

  I enjoy coming here. I usually get iced lattes. The employees are friendly, the place is clean, the service is quick, my order is accurate. And my iced lattes are so delicious.

  A soaring 20 ft. ceiling, a clean, organized selection, industrial chic interior and a great product. What's not to like? Much thought clearly went into this small indie chain of coffee shops. I'm an indie owner myself (Cafe Karma, SPI) and I know a little about what goes into creating an original vibe. These people have nailed it. Having seen enough hand-lettered chalkboards, grunge, loud music and attitude in urban coffee shops, it's refreshing to visit a shop with this much quiet confidence. Great staff too, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

  I know small coffee shops are everywhere anymore and seem to keep popping up all around. It's like the craft beer industry really. Everyone wants to be a part of the big movement and will do whatever it takes to be noticed. But in all the hustle there's really only a few that stand out, that make you remember the product for how original it was. Let me tell you this place is just that. Original. Yeah it has the typical coffee shop appearance but their end product is one you'll never forget. The coffee is obviously roasted in small batches and cared for till it hits your cup. Super nice atmosphere and very pleasant inside. Well kept facility and equipment and very clean. If you've never had slow brew you must try it here. Done with perfection. The baristas really know their craft.
