I've been seeing Joe for almost a year now. It's been extremely helpful and I've learned a lot about myself in the process. Joe encourages me to be the best I can be, and is not shy about disclosing personal experiences that may provide insight, which is important for me. Joe has an extensive education and very valuable insight. Definitely would recommend.

I’ve been going to Mr. Montaldi for approximately 6 months. I am not an easy patient and am fully aware of my shortcomings as one yet he manages to navigate the storms of my weekly moods and prod where I briefly expose sources of issues without pushing beyond what would be beneficial. I highly recommend him for anyone in need of an empathetic therapist who manages to be both detached enough to provide services yet cognitive enough of the pain you’re exploring to not appear dismissive.

I have had a great experience. In fact, I continued going to him after I moved even though he is now 15 miles away. I have been going to him for almost a year and I am really starting to see a change. Its slower than I would like but I am getting there. Joe helps me to challenge negative thoughts, which I really needed to do. Whats been especially helpful is that he is gay and can relate to my experiences as a gay man. I can open up to him about more intimate issues I need to discuss. Thats not to say I wouldnt still recommend him if you're not gay, I definitely would. He has a variety of areas he specializes in.
