No dogs being allowed is not my favorite thing, but I loved the beautiful nature!
Great place for a good run. Taking the “level 4” route makes the run a lot more challenging. Mostly uphill. Takes it to about 1.95 miles. Great run and when you reach the top is a great scene.
Great park to take a low impact hike or walk. The scenery is very nice. Restrooms are available.
The path is about 1.5 miles maybe shorter. It’s decently paved and not too hard, great for a beginner and there is also “level 4” trails for those looking for more excitement and activity. But I’m my opinion, the regular trail is perfect for a hot summer day as it is well shaded by trees and shrubs. Would defiantly come back.
A great place to have a walk. Not too far or hard. Saw a coral snake even at the entrance of the trail so watch out. Heard some grunts from hogs. A beautiful view of a canyon. A little more noisy from the city than Friedrich park. Still a great place to walk. Also check yourself for ticks afterwards.
