  Nice leisurely walking area. You can go on your own. But from time to time they have events with guided tours.

  The Audubon center had great birding and hiking trails. This site is open to the public and provides a great birding experience for a low cost. They provide bird guides available complete with pictures to allow for easy identification for even the most novice of birders.

  Had a blast going to Mitchell Lake Audubon with N.I.S.D. this morning. It wouldn't have been the same without our tour guide "Ray". He was nice, patient with all the kids, very informative, and you could tell he loves what he does. Can't wait to go back and walk the rest of the trails and take more pictures.

  This is really a great place for birding. The walks are so beautiful. Great people who work, very knowledgeable about birds. This is one of the best birding places I've ever been too.
