(May 2, 2019, 3:11 pm)The food was simple but SO great. The coolest thing was a inion Pacific train stopped and a dude climbed down to get food. Loved it. I live 5 seconds away I'll definitely be back!

(April 23, 2019, 2:37 pm)I wish I hadn't been so hungry so I could've taken a picture of my food before eating it! I ordered 1/2 pound of carnitas with guacamole and I wish I had ordered more! The meat was flavorful and moist and the tortillas were soft but strong enough to not tear with the weight of the meat. Carnitas Lonja is simple and authentic, perfection. My only complaint is that I wish my bottled Coke had been colder, but they have cups with ice if you ask for them. Overall this restaurant is worthy of your time and money and has been added to my "favorites" list.

(February 5, 2019, 8:31 pm)Hands down, the best Carnitas I've ever had in San Antonio. I could have stayed there all day just to eat Carnitas for breakfast lunch and dinner. The staff were absolutely amazing and extremely friendly. My biggest regret is that I was only able to eat a half a pound of carnitas and not more. I loved the beans, guacamole and all the condiments.
