Such a good property! I attended Trinity University and lived here my senior year and it was such a good/short walk to my classes and in a great location!
It’s been a wonderful experience renting with Bexar management. A friend who was a current renter recommend I reach out to Gwyn and it’s been nothing but exceptional service! Gwyn showed us a few places and was very responsive with questions and making sure things are in order. Even after we signed she has been super helpful. We’ve been living in our current apartment since March and have enjoyed every month thus far. I highly recommend renting with Bexar management.
When I moved into my apartment (which I took because I needed something...cost-effective), it was in bad shape. Bexar Management had recently acquired it from another property management, and it was obvious the old management didn't take the time to properly fix issues. In the first couple of months, I submitted a lot of maintenance requests for minor and major issues.
I'm giving them a five star review because not only have they been really responsive to the issues, but they've taken the time to fix them well so the issues won't come up again. Another perk for me is they allowed me to paint the walls and replace light fixtures with something I like better. I'm on good terms with Gwyn, the leasing manager; also, even as a young woman who lives alone, I feel comfortable with the maintenance guys.
I couldn't find any reviews when I was apartment searching, so I had to close my eyes and dive in. But from my experience, I can say if you want a unique and cost-effective apartment in central San Antonio, know that although there may be quirks because the buildings are older, the management will take care of you.
