(August 30, 2019, 1:59 pm)When visiting The Beignet Stand, a very unassuming trailer awaited when we first pulled up. The menu comprises of 3 items, but 3 items that provide a fine example of quality over quantity. The beignets served in both my chicken and beignets and my wife’s beignets dish were consistently brilliant.
The chicken served had a brittle yet moist batter covering it that fooled this Brit into thinking it was a beer batter, and a generously sized piece of chicken that was tender and juicy. On top of that my dish had a generous amount of powdered sugar and accompanied with a sauce that complimented the whole dish.
This place is very moderately priced and has a personal touch when it comes to service.
Simply put this little trailer made my day as did the gentleman working it. Highly recommended and worth checking out!
