  Overall, a decent place to stay but not for anybody who might want or expect extra frills. The safe in the room did not work and the TV remote control was a bit tricky to figure out. One of the days, the master key was left in the room lock (so anybody could have gotten into the room or any other room really) and the room did not appear to have been cleaned (both of which weekend kind of weird). Extra points if you are from Illinois because the proprietors love to talk about being from Springfield LOL. Pretty decent breakfast too for free breakfast.

  So far, so good. I was in room 203 (single queen, small fridge, microwave). Excellent customer service by the front desk! Very clean, very nice and they have a pool!! Attention: anyone who would be offended by an adult video megaplex next door, Don't stay here. Although they have the megaplex next door, I didn't see any illegal or questionable activity during my stay. The property is very clean along with the pool too! I would say this is a perfect place for a family to stay at. Aside from this Days Inn, I have also stayed at the Days Inn Airport location and I have also left a rating and write-up too. At this location, the nearest corner store within walking distance is less than 10 minutes. If you are from out of town and not too familiar with this location, before you decide to book here, check the map and satellite view of the area. It's one of those areas that isn't on a busy strip, or a location that has things nearby in walking distance. In other words, you will need a vehicle if you stay here.   Exactly what I needed. I just needed a room close to the airport for the night with a low price. The price was right, the room was quiet and clean, the shower was hot and the shuttle got me to the airport on time.
  The lady at the front desk during check-in could use a personality, but not a show-stopper.

  My partner came back into town to surprise me, we wanted to have a night alone to ourselves so we could catch up and reconnect. It was amazing. The place was clean, and the man at the front desk was sweet. He gave us a bigger room for a discount. It was a truly unforgettable experience.
  The only bad part about it was the condition of the bathroom, the paint on the inside of the bath tub was chipping, but if you're not looking for a shower I guess it isn't an issue.
