(September 9, 2014, 9:37 pm)Pastor Caruthers and his wife, Gena are excellent ministers. I appreciate that they are straight to the point, it took me by pleasant surprise. I was raised Christian but I have learned more in these last two weeks than I ever knew. It is always nerve wrecking walking into a church for the first time because even churches within the same denomination can be vastly different... the moment I set foot through the doors, members were already treating me like family. I cannot help but leave each time with a smile. I particularly love that this church has a young adults class for 18-29 with pastor Josh Nino who is also a fantastic mentor. I intend to stay with Calvary for as long as I live in this city!
