I will be honest, this is a biased review and I recommend discussing your options with providers/patients who have had first hand experience with the laboratory and pathology services at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
Overall, I have observed a dedicated team of laboratory technicians, scientists and pathologists focused on providing gold-standard results to their patients. The pathologist (now 23) in the group each focus on unique areas of pathology including bone/soft tissue sarcomas, head and neck carcinomas, breast, hematopathology, and cancer genetics to ensure that no matter the rarity or difficulty of a case, they are all handled accurately and expediently.
