“I found Dr. Rodriguez to be very knowledgeable in his field and his wife was equally passionate about physical and mental health in general, both very kind. I was saddened when my health insurance changed and my son could no longer see him. When you can find a great doctor with great staff, you have found a great thing. I cannot say that for Dr. Rodriguez's staff. When an active patient, one of the members of his staff was quite rude to me and would make it diffilcult for me whenever she could. Even to this day I cannot say why this woman was rude to me. The ultimate is when my son was hospitalized and I attempted to reach out to Dr. Rodriguez for general but specific information and the member of his staff would not let me speak to the doctor, when I asked if I could leave a message and if he could return my call, she said that the doctor refuses to speak to me since he is not my doctor. I found this to be a total contradiction to how I saw his practice when he saw my son. Although I know that the doctor could not give specific instructions since he is not the overseeing doctor, I found refusing to speak to a former patient who left on very good terms, AWFUL. In a mental health situation, you never know what a person is going through. So my recommendation is this...Very good doctor, unsure about the quality and integrity of all of the staff.”
