“The chicken is so good. The combo plates are very delicious, two or three side orders of your choice. Also sell sweet tea or unsweet, apple pie or lemon pie. The staff are very polite. Id recommend this churches are very family oriented.”

“Looks like a dump of a place - service was good. Lunch time was busy but the food was AMAZING! Soup was HOT, I had the Walnut glazed shrimp and even though was not on the lunch menu- was willing to accommodate. Egg rolls were crunchy and great flavor. Crab rangoons were crispy as well and perfectly cooked. I eat Chinese food all over the United States and this place has really good food. Restaurant could use a complete makeover on the inside (looked a little rough) but waiter was prompt and attentive and food was delicious! Will be back when I visit San Antonio again”

“Great barbecue. Smoked properly super tender and not try. I went with my son just Graduated from the Air Force. We had the three meat platter with pulled pork, brisket, sausage. Everything was excellent not dry. Four stars because my son was in graduation uniform and he was not given a 10% military discount”

“As far as Tex-Mex restaurants go, I enjoy coming here with the family. The food is decent, the ambiance is great. The coffee is not too great unfortunately. Now remember this is a Tex-Mex restaurant not a authentic Mexican restaurant it is Tex-Mex so of course the salsa is more life tomato paste. All in all it is a nice restaurant so stop by and give it a try.”

“We sat in the bar, as Happy Hour drink specials could only be ordered in the bar area. The shrimp fondue was very tasty. We shared the catfish and shrimp and it was also very good. I'm not big on fish but the catfish was delicious. The only downside was that my husband found 2 bones in the fish. Even after that, I kept eating, it was it was *that good*. The fried shrimp, which is normally my favorite food, was okay. The fondue and catfish are the reasons I will make a return trip. Price was really good. We had 2 margaritas, 1 beer, shrimp fondue, catfish and shrimp plate all for $46 before tip. Service was also really good. And another plus, we went early (5:30pm) on a weekday so the restaurant was nice and quiet and not overly crowded.”
