“Great restaurant! Good menu with lots of options to pick from. I went for the first time recently for a graduation dinner (reservation required) and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the Mediterranean pasta and it was light and fresh. The servers were great, except that they constantly forgot to bring butter with the bread and our group of 50+ was literally begging for butter. If it wasn’t for the inattentiveness from the servers, this would easily be a 5 star rating. I’d definitely recommend!”

“Good seafood in an open environment. Nice drink selection with available specials. This particular location was rather slow service-wise though. We went to meet four other people there. They didn't have glasses up front for either of the drinks my wife and I ordered. Took forever for the waiter to get them to us. Five of six entrees arrived, my wife had to wait yet again for her burger to come out. Kudos for offering a military discount. Will return but most likely to the one closer to our house since they seem to have their stuff together.”

“Great place to grab a bite to eat and drink some beer. A flight was 4 beers and it was about $9 i think. Also tried their beef and veggie soup. It was good. Alot of people were eating their pizzas though. My husband filled up a 64oz growler for $16. They could not fill our smaller growler though (which is why I knocked off a star, they should have been able to do that). Service was great, restrooms were clean, beers were good.”

“We went and took advantage of the couple's package and had a great time! We played miniature golf, drove go-karts, hit some balls at the batting cage and played in the arcade. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A great time for a great price, we will definitely try and return asap.”

“It has been a while since I have had Burger King but can say it seems, at least at this location, they have changed. Everything was hot and fresh even though I usually request they not have what is standard for most normal people. Other places get lazy and wipe off or try to hide the fact it isn't made to order, but made then customized afterwards which is not what I order.. like I would order and fresh hamburger with recently wiped on mayo, then to wipe it and the cheese off, rinse under water, and just replace the bread it touched! So, to be clear, YOU WILL NOT HAVE THAT PROBLEM AT THIS LOCATION and they were still fast and professional, and actually talked to u about your order in stead of looking at u while talking to the headset. I do not mind but please if u multitask, do not ever make a mistake or call the error a miscommunication, cause clearly u were not listening. Again, to be clear, you will not have that problem here. Everything was fresh and not slammed together to make 2 Whoppers look like 1. :) I really like to go out of my way when I feel a business cares about how the customers are treated and viewed. Which is why Most if not all my reviews are less than 10 percent of businesses I deal with. I rather put more effort into those businesses that want our business and try to do it better and different. They deserve to be recognized.”

“Staying at a nearby hotel and I asked the young lady at the front desk if she could recommend a Chinese restaurant, she suggested Wahkee Chinese Seafood Restaurant. I am extremely happy with her suggestion. The food is delicious, the staff is very attentive and accommodating, the prices are reasonable and the beer prices are unbelievably cheap! My food was hot, cooked perfectly and a generous portion. The gentleman who took care of me was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, always checking on me and all around fantastic! I highly recommend Wahkee Chinese Seafood Restaurant!!”

“A great family restaurant. We love to eat out on the patio under the huge oak trees in the shade. For summertime they have fans and misters, and in the winter they have space heaters so that everyone is comfortable. The food is great, and the playground is wonderful, especially for families with kids. They can easily accommodate small or large groups, and there's something for everyone to enjoy. In the evenings they have live music, and tonight's with a talented guitarist with everything from Brown Eyed Girl to Best Friend's Girl. We were happy to sing along and dance with the kiddos and watching sports on the big screen tv. Quality service, and reliably delicious food make this an easy choice when our family needs to get together. I was first introduced 10 years ago after church, and they impressed me a great deal. I've come here with my family ever since. During peak hours it gets loud indoors, and when there's live music, it can be a little bit loud as well. Just ask to be seated on the patios away from the speakers. They have a sprawling Patio and Bar outside.”

Tables that hadn't been wiped and employees that could have been cleaning -- we were the only customers at the time. “Wonderful family restaurant serving authentic Puerto Rican and Dominican cuisine. The welcoming and friendly greeting my group of friends received when we arrived for a late lunch today made us feel at home immediately. The food was just amazing! My friends and I each ordered different dishes and we were all impressed with the delicious food. I have driven by this restaurant many times on FM78 and never stopped, because I wasn't sure if they were open. Today I finally stopped with my friends and we are so glad we did. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in the city of Converse, Texas. Inexpensive menu, but high quality foods. I will be back with more family and friends and I highly recommend this restaurant.”
