“Kaleb was a great waiter and gave great descriptions of different meals based on different tastes and wasn't shy about his favorite dish. We started off with the calamari and octopus which was well cooked and not rubbery. Breading was well seasoned and wasn't dripping with grease. For our entrees we ended up getting the shrimp and grits and the seasonal halibut dish. Each dish was thoughtfully composed with different flavors and textures that complemented each other. If I were to be critical on one thing it would've been the size/cut of the onions in the shrimp and grits, but I also had a knife, so that was easy enough to take care of.”

“Our middle school volleyball team had our party here in the late afternoon before league play. It was perfect for us. All we wanted was a place to play volleyball and order food. Corinne was running the outside bar and helped take our food orders. The courts were great. The food was ok but took a long time. We didn't mind, since we were there to have fun. We would definitely choose this place again for another volleyball party. We had a blast!”

“I just stopped by this jack in the box for the first time and I must say this has been the best fast food experience I’ve had in San Antonio. In a city of 1.5 million people kindness is almost always lost. There’s a constant stream of customers so quality of service takes a backseat to the all powerful dollar. Summer was on the drive through this evening and she was extremely polite and cordial. Her demeanor was so sweet she actually was able to upsell me for more than I planned on ordering today! I little bit of kindness really goes a long way! Little things like that are what keep customers happy and coming back. I hope she is management and if she isn’t I hope management recognizes what kind of employee they have in her. I’m not easily impressed either, you can check my other reviews.”

“Great customer service from Connor and Sabrina. We stopped in after our workout at Golds on a Saturday late afternoon. This would be our first visit here. Upon entering they (Sabrina) greeted you immediately. I will say that she was busy making a smoothie but still acknowledged your presence. Wow! Now that is great customer service. It's the little things that you do that separate you from the rest. Connor waited on us. Mainly my husband since he was the one ordering. Very polite and patient young man. “Kobe Teppan & Sushi is by far my husband and I's first choice for a low-key date night. The atmosphere is comfortable and romantic coincided. There is a bit of a tip to eating here, first is: If you're going for Hibachi, call ahead and make reservations. Sushi is pretty much walk-ins and not much of a wait. Next tip is: When eating sushi, always order the "all you can eat" menu. For most sushi places, the prices are outrageous for 1-2 rolls. Kobe offers a $17.99 all you can eat menu which includes almost all of their sushi, appetizers, and plates. Their only rule is you need to finish the food on your plate before ordering more and if you do not, they will charge an extra dollar or two (well worth the fee). The Double J roll is my personal favorite. For Hibachi, I love getting the steak - I received a heaping portion of steak and it was cooked to absolute perfection! Also, we took some friends here for a birthday and one of the waitresses that has served us before recognized us and we shared a friendly chat. They brought the birthday dessert and drums to sing happy birthday! It was a load of fun and I really enjoy coming here and will continue to eat here!”
