“Still best Jamaican food in San Antonio. Four years ago a friend and I were at Sam Houston doing a class and wanted Jamaican food. A quick Google search lead us a little gem. The food was delicious and our spirits were lifted from the earthly presence of the owner and staff. Four years later, I find myself vacationing with wife and kids in San Antonio and a quick Google search reminded me of this gem--we had to check it out. To my surprise the location changed; however, the taste of the food remained the same: full of flavor and delicious. I'm happy to see the business doing well; and yes, the next time we're in town we will be visiting.”

“We rolled on in to this restaurant expecting just another dive Mexican place and boy were we pleasantly surprised! We ordered a packed bag of breakfast tacos for our family and visitors for the weekend, handed over half our paycheck, and proceeded to devour the tacos a short time later. To say this place has good breakfast tacos would be an understatement. I can't vouch for much else this place offers, but my full, happy belly is in hog heaven from their breakfast tacos. “Lot's of food for the money. I ordered the Admiral's Plate. Clean place and nice staff. There is a condiment station that has all the good stuff like a tarter sauce pump, peppers, sliced lemons and lime, salsa. You place your order at the counter and then look for a place to sit. Nice atmosphere. Good parking. The fried portion was hot. My rice was barely warm. When I got through eating, I put my left overs in a container and it looked like I didn't even touch it. “What can one say, DQ is Texas's stop sign. I went here after being gone for so long because I was craving a chicken fingers basket and Texas sweet tea. This place did not disappoint. “Delicious. So far, I’ve been 4x. Fish sandwich & sweet potato fries are amazing. Mozzarella sticks are good. The only items I disliked were the garlic mash (it had more garlic seasoning than simple salt), the shrimp sometimes taste like the dirty ocean, & the fries are sometimes nasty like they are old & were cooked in oil from years ago & left behind the stove. All of my visits have been at dinner time. Staff is nice. Facility always clean.”
