Alvin RV Resort

My wife and I stayed at Alvin RV Resort the month of April 2023 and we’re so pleased with the campground. Let’s start by saying that my wife and I have stayed in over 100 parks and campgrounds the last 5 years. But we would rate Alvin RV Resort as one of the most well kept and relaxing. The previous managers at Alvin were good people but let most of the rules slide particularly for a select few. The new manager, Ray Tatum, who took over management shortly after we arrived began making positive changes immediately and over the month we saw many improvements both in grounds appearance and the way everyone was treated equally and not just a special few. I worked for Mr. Tatum, at his other position at another popular RV Resort for a year and a half. I’ve never worked for a kinder, more honest or an on top of things manager like Mr.Tatum. Ray always treated his guests and employees with the utmost dignity and respect, wanting nothing less than the best for the guests. So many people returned to Ray’s former resort year after year because of Mr. Tatum’s management style and so many guest loved him and he is one reason they continued to return. There are other rv parks we could go to next winter but we already have our reservations to return to Alvin RV Resort next fall because of the professional, positive way Mr. Tatum manages.

First of all Ashley in the office and her crew are the nicest most helpful people on earth! They really are great. The park is super clean very well manicured. Nice laundry facilities. Small pool and hot tub are well kept. We stayed here for a visit to Johnson Space Center, it's a short drive away.

Outstanding RV Park, I was pleasantly surprised!!!
Had to travel to Alvin area for work. I located this RV park and booked by phone. Upon arrival, it was dark and after hours. The staff requested I call 20 minutes prior to arrival and they would have someone onsite to finalize my reservation/booking and assist me to my assigned RV slot. This was very convenient and helpful. They lead me to the location and spotted me as I backed in.
I travel extensively for work and have used RV Parks across Texas and several surrounding state. Let me say that this location is by far the most professional and well built RV Park I have stayed in. Entry and exits are gated (minimizes chance of theft or burglary), Roads and spaces are entirely concreted in (level and all weather access!). Lush green grass is provided between pads (minimizes mud and grit tracked into your unit), Used the dog park while on site. Very sturdy chain-linked fence & separated into two separate areas to allow multiple users access at same time. Overall very clean, quite, well laid out and I would definitely stay there again!

Alvin RV Resort 5 stars all the way! We loved our stay. We are full timers and this was a great place. I always felt safe (single mom) and the RV park is very clean. Love all the people working in the office. They were always smiling and so helpful. Alvin has a small town feel and this is a great place for families!

Stayed At the Alvin RV Resort after purchasing our new fifth wheel from a dealer in Alvin. We live about 4 hours away and wanted to use the RV in case we encountered any issues before leaving for home. We had upgraded to a much larger RV than we previously had and requested a space whch would make it easy to back in. This was accommodated and much appreciated. The park is large and was not too busy during our stay. I would agree with a previous reviewer that some the grass does need to fill-in a bit, but being new this will come with time. It is overall excellently maintained. We did encounter an issue with one of our slides on the morning we were scheduled to depart and ended up having to return to the dealer for repairs. This necessitated us having to stay an additional night and we were accommodated right into the same space. The staff here is super friendly and helpful and they live on-site which is a plus. I would recommend this park and will use it personally again as the need arises for us to return to the area.
