  The people who work there are awesome! My kids had a great time learning about animals and adopting a hummingbird to release into the wild.

  We came for the Extreme Hummingbird Extravaganza and my kids had an amazing time. The staff is very knowledgeable and the facility is clean. If you coming it would be advisable to bring sunscreen and bug spray. Don’t forget your binoculars and camera!

  Great organization helping birds. Has Hummingbird Xtravaganza each fall. Bird banding open to public monthly. Trails for watching birds and wildlife. Library. Books and plants for sale at times. Beautiful setting.

  Attended the August banding event, and had a great time learning about the banding process and the birds, and meeting folks who appreciate birds! I definitely plan to visit again (but more likely during a cooler/migration time of year to see a greater variety of birds).

  If you’ve into birding this is a great place. Plenty of info on local birding location. They have talks and demonstrations frequently including live bird banding the third Saturday of each month. There’s also a native plant nursery on site with a wide selection of locally grown plants.
