Recovered from knee replacement surgery at the The Colonnades at Reflection Bay and loved every minute of it. The interior is gorgeous, my room was beautiful with a private bathroom and little mini-kitchen. Most of the nurses were way above average; professional, knowledgeable and very compassionate. For example Nurse "Sheena" was an absolute doll who was very efficient, always supportive and i felt safe knowing she was right outside my door. She was always quick to respond to my needs but when asked eagerly helped teach me how to take care of my self as I got better. She did what appeared to be a very hard job effortlessly and with a joyfull attitude. And there were other nurses that stoodout as well. The food was wonderful. No doubt prepared by a chef that deserves a tremondous amount of respect. Meals were beauifully planned and executed!! Housekeeping, more specifically "Margarita" was extremely considerate and took care to keep my room constantly cleaned and stocked with what i needed. She was always cheerful and kind. Finally, i cant say enough about the quality of the physical therapy. My therapists, "Adam" and "Ces" were extremely knowledgeable and were determined and passionate about returning me to my former self. Their goals were even more ambitious than mine were. They worked with me, educated me, encouraged me and listened to me. They were my coaches and my cheerleaders and i couldnt imagine a better experience. And my doctor is thrilled with my flection and range of motion. My sincerest thanks to the physical therapy team, especially Adam for setting me on the path of happiness, wholeness and hopefullness for a life i didnt even realize was possible. Thanks to everyone at The Colonnades. You must pick this facility if you want an extraordinary skilled nursing experience and superior physical therapy.
