  The rooms were nice, food was good. However, the buildings are pretty old and despite doing some remodeling, it still has that "old building feel". If you're not too picky, it's not bad at all.

  Beautiful place to live or visit with nightly/weekly rentals and has a world class gold course, parks, tennis/basketball courts and even it's own store. Ensuring that you never have to leave if you feel the need to call it home.

  My family and I had an extended stay for a little over 2 months due to a small house fire. The rooms and beds were nice, and the cottage was clean and spacious. The house cleaning ladies were awesome! They were attentive when needed. When the do not disturb sign was out, if they saw me later-after rounds, They made sure to ask if we needed anything. Lane, even found my cellphone at the pool and return it to me. Jerry,in Maintenance, was on top of everything. And the ladies at the desk were accommodating and pleasant. Katrina helped me book the place right after the fire, and helped ease some anxiety. Jeannie was so nice and understanding during a rainstorm in the middle of checkout. Kathy made sure we were taken care of. The staff are extremely friendly. They went the extra mile to make this feel like our home away from home. Southern hospitality at its best!
  
  Note about other reviews: Yes, the place needs some updates. But nothing major. And as for the bugs- It's Texas in the summer. The very first thing I did when we got there was spray for bugs. The next day- we only had 2 dead June bugs. That's it. No roaches or spiders. All bugs were outside. The cottages are nestled between oak trees and water. There are going to be some bugs. I had two children that ran the grounds- no ant hills or mosquitos. Grass was always cut and maintained. It was the best experience that one could have considering the circumstances of our stay.

  This is a beautiful place to come for a country setting. We are here for business but would recommend it for vacation, extended stay or just a couple days to relax. The office staff and housekeepers are very friendly and prompt to help you with anything you need. They come and clean and bring you new towels and take your trash daily. If you want to stay somewhere and feel at home, this is the place to be.
