“So I went on a 7 day cruise this past June. Before going on the cruise I was at 207 lbs. After the cruise I gained 9 pounds. I was not to happy. It's funny how it is so hard to lose weight and real easy to gain it back. It just so happened that Brick Houston was starting the 28 day challenge and I signed up. Well after 28 days I was almost back down to the weight I was prior to the cruise (208 lbs). The 28 Days challenge was a lot of hard work but my body feels great for it!! I have been a member of Brick Houston for almost a year. I started Brick last year doing the 6 weeks challenge and was able to lose 10 lbs during the challenge. I really love the atmosphere. “Dr Thomas & her staff are the most caring & professional people I’ve met in quite a while. I suffered a concussion in January of 2017. It was my 5th I’m my 60 years. I also have Lupus & rheumatoid arthritis. I’ve always been sensitive to light but this last concussion certainly pushed that over the edge. After wearing prescription sunglasses for a year & listening to unbelievable insensitive comments from people when I wear them at night in a restaurant or at the store, I searched the web & found a company who was FDA approved & who could make a pair of custom contacts for me so I could go out in public, day or night & not have to wear sunglasses. I was thrilled to see Dr. Thomas as a listed provider. We met, she examined my eyes & we discussed which tint would work best for my condition. When I put those contacts in, I was able to look around a room with all the lights on & not have excruciating pain. I was able to look “normal”. Dr. Thomas & her staff gave me part of my life back. I just can’t thank them enough!!”
