Spicewood Cottage

We had a wonderful experience at Spicewood Cottage, the hosts were very kind and met us personally when we arrived. They were prompt to fix an issue with the bathtub within hours of calling, and the cottage was clean and well accommodated. The bed was comfortable and the water hot, we could not have possibly asked for more. The peaceful surroundings were perfect for watching the deer and even a grey fox. Thank you Terry and Helen for the great experience.

Terry and Helen were great. The cottage is beautiful and in a beautiful part of the hill country. Unfortunately, my wife and I were in town for a wedding, so we weren't able to have the weekend country getaway that many other reviewers had at the cottage. We'll have to go back again for that weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The price was very reasonable especially for quality of the room. The scenery was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the deer and just listening to nature. The cottage was great and perfect for what we wanted. It was clean and neat. Terry and Helen were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed getting to meet them. Perfect place to stay if you are in this area.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It's so great to get a full kitchen and plenty of room to move around -- all with a great location and price! We enjoyed all the wildlife we saw in the area, and we enjoyed our time golfing, zip lining, and visiting the wineries. We loved Opie's BBQ so much we returned twice -- the blackberry cobbler is a must! Don't hesitate to stay at Spicewood Cottage... you won't regret it!
