Owner and her dad were there and were real friendly. Looking forward to the completed product. Also a police officer lives next door so it makes anyone staying here feel more comfortable and safe.”

“Beautiful! We are out here camping.. it has no water, power, or bathrooms other than a hole in the ground. We have had a wonderful time and will definitely be back but better prepare! There is a place for a fire and tent camping is perfect the ground is at a slop but flat. Also you need a FREE permit and the place closes at 4.”

“Yes, we sat at the DPS office most of the day, however the youngest of the group was extremely patient with us and kind. Imagine, you had to deal with disgruntled people all day .. would you be cheerful all day? We did not have all the papers we needed for my daughters permit and this young lady went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. Yes, people have to stand in the heat for a bit, but that is not the employees fault. They are instructed by the fire Marshall how many people can be in the building. I heard so many negative comments while inside the office ... definitely not the ladies faults, But one constructive criticism I do have for the office is ... there should be more signage outside the building to instruct people on the procedure ( standing outside, not pulling a number until inside waiting begins, proper forms to have with you) I am grateful for the time and patience given to my family today at the DPS office. Thank you very much! A thankless job... but everyone needs praise. Go to the office with your patience hat on, eat before going and bring 2 bills with your proof of address, social security card, birth certificate or passport. Verification of enrollment for school signed by school. The procedures of the office are in no way mandated by those ladies ... they are doing their job as you do yours. Most of you have a boss telling you what and how to do something. Next time you go ... maybe a thank you and a smile would be the better!!! I saw ladies helping little old ladies with forms and we were treated with respect. Have a great day and please thank someone today. ????”
