  Love the Train history & preservation of stone dam used by steam engines late 1800-1900's. City of Allen did a great job incorporating bike trail, signs & beautiful foot bridge to cross Cottonwood Creek.

  Very good transition and not too crowded. Lots of fun obstacles for beginners and pros alike.

  Construction going on at the dam right now but it'll be fine soon. Great place to ride your bike or walk through the woods.

  It's not exactly a long walk, but it is a fun and pretty one. Take a moment to read up on some of the history of Allen, it's quite fascinating really. I recommend taking a stroll across the old railway bridge as well, it's adorned with surprisingly kind and upbeat graffiti on it. That's an interesting change of pace for sure!

  Scenic, conveniently located. For biking, running, walking and special occasion pictures. Well maintained and historic atmosphere. Highly recommended.
