Thanks LG for the NEW Corvette!!

Literally, I am driving a new car. My car is C6 Z51 that I bought new in CA in 2006. I did heads/cam, full exhaust, tune, ported everything etc. I had the Pfadt featherlights, but never could get a combination of comfort and control that worked on the bouncy Texas concrete roads. I did not enjoy driving it much.

Enter LG. They completely rebuilt the suspension with drop spindles, sway-bars, GT2 coilovers and camber kit with an alignment. The result was amazing. There is no downside here, only positive. The car is super planted and has excellent control. I like it very low and it rides better than ever and it much quieter. I was stunned. I take it for rides all the time just to put a smile on my face. It was expensive and some might question spending the cash on an older car. I have 0 regrets and would totally do it again. This will hold me until I can get a used C8 Z06 and we know how long that will take. :-D

A month later or so I had it tuned. It has some issues from the original tuner and I knew it was long over due since it had been 11 years. Although, we could not find any more peak power, Sergio did expand and fatten my torque curve in the 3000-4500 range by 15 pr so. Looking at the graph, you might think that wasn't worth the money, but driving the car. Wow. Car accelerates so smoothly and I can just sit on the mid-range going to about 4k in every gear and the speedo just moves. Before, I would get some times where my throttle got sloppy, but now it is always razor sharp regardless of how I drive. I had a B&M ripper from 2006 so the upgrade to their delrin shifter was also a pleasant surprise after getting used to not having a round ball for the handle.

I highly recommend this shop if you like to go fast and especially through the turns. All this work was done in Dec 2020 and Jan 2021 so I have had plenty of time and miles to evaluate the car. It was nice hanging at the shop and learning a lot from Vance and Dane as well. Thanks!! Tony

LG Motorsports is the best shop I’ve been to. Before I took my corvette to get worked on, I called every shop in the area and visited a few. LG Motorsports facility is second to none from their capabilities to organization and cleanliness. Vance at LG walked me through every step of my current plans and helped guide me through future plans for my car. These guys are all passionate about cars and builds and it really shows through in their products and work whether it’s bolt ons or a full build they are car guys through and through. I can’t recommend them enough to anyone I know because you’ll be hard pressed to find a shop with more accolades and proof behind them.
