I stayed at the facility for five weeks due to a staph infection in my knee. The nurses did an awesome job in making sure I got my antibiotic through and IV picline around the clock.
The physical therapy staff did an excellent job in getting me back to recovery. I love the entire staff and everyone was so nice and very friendly.
Also the place is clean and beautiful!
Thank you Stonemere!

We've had two family members stay here on three different stays for a total of about 8 months so far. Both of them are now there permanently.
We have found the facility is very clean and well maintained, the staff are very caring, they handle emergencies skillfully (my father in law has a tendency to fall), and the food is good. During our time we have learned that this facility is owned by a local family and they are very hands on, very caring, and very responsive.
My in-laws are calm and happy living at Stonemere. They enjoy the musical and holiday events put on by the staff.
My wife and I recommend the facility highly. We are no relations to the owners. We are customers who put my wife's parents there. If we had looked ten times harder, we couldn't have found a place we would be more happy with.
My 91 year old mother was admitted here after her broken hip bone surgery. Physical facility is excellent. Nurses are good, especially Judy, Jericho and Mayo were exceptionally good. Physical therapy staff is excellent, especially Rachel was exceptional. Occupational therapists are also very good, especially Bianca was exceptionally good. Activity Director Razia is outstanding and very helpful. Executive Director, Daniel Prince is committed to service so much that he gave us his cellphone number to reach out anytime. The sore points are food and business office. There were times when same food items were repeated seven days in a raw. Facility has no concept of vegetarian food and choices are very limited. Business office is very slow in processing paperwork and not responsive to client requests. I have seen other rehab centers and comparatively this one is much better. My mom stayed here for two months.
I stayed at The Stonemere for two weeks following a total knee replacement. I was scared out of my wits due to my surgery in the first place and frankly don't like being at the mercy of others. For the first time in my life, I found myself relying on strangers to care for my every need. The Stonemere stepped up to the plate and proved to be the right choice. I saw excellence and compassion in action by not just the staff but the Executive Director as well. Never at any time did I feel uncared for or unsafe. In fact, by the end of my stay, I made many new friends and plan to tell everyone I know about the best kept secret in Collin County. A big shout out goes to the Executive Director, Daniel Prince, whose compassionate heart is reflected in his staff. Mr. Prince requires a high standard of quality care and attention from his staff and demonstrates by example with excellence as he frequently spends time with each patient instead of hiding behind a desk. As a result of the exquisite care and therapy I received at The Stonemere, I am functioning 2 weeks ahead of schedule in my recovery. The proof is in the results!
